Many of us love travelling to places and exploring but we often end up just dreaming about just because we don’t really have a lot of money to spend on our trips. Hence, we tried to think of ways through which you can still travel even though money acts as a restriction. Yes, we care for you.

Plan well
The most important thing to keep in mind is-planning. Planning doesn’t simply refer to the destination; it includes the places you would prefer to visit once you are there, how you wish to reach there, where to stay, days you would like to spend, analyzing your destination for options and being prepared for all the possible situation that you might end up tackling. Planning will help you tackle the budget problem to a great extent and will help you in more than one way.

Travel in groups
This is a no brainer that travelling in group helps in dividing the expenses. Hence, it’s better to find likeminded people or travelling groups to your destination to ensure not only saving some extra bucks but also safety. Also, travelling in group is more fun than travelling alone unless you are the “I love my company” kind of person, then we would suggest to stick to other options of this list.

Look out for offers
Keep looking for options from travel friendly entrepreneurs and websites to have discounts in travelling and staying so that you can save some money. You can avail decent discounts specially during off season and if you become a member you are in for special discounts and maybe if luck favours you might even a sponsored trip.

5

Make use of public transport
Try not to be focus much on comfort and dump the idea of using Uber and Ola to reach places rather find out how you can make use of public transport to travel. And to reach to your destination travel by state roadways or Indian railways and try to use the cheaper options available rather than using Volvos and AC coaches, hope you got the point.

6

Be a bag packer
Try to carry bare minimal things and not going all gaga by packing more luggage than you can possibly carry. Being a bag packer will ensure that you don’t have to book hotel rooms for the whole day rather you can just check in during night and leave by the morning which again will help you saving some more money for trying the special cuisine; great news, right?

7

Look for substitutes
Always try to look for substitutes, until of course, you have money to splurge on. But in that case we would still suggest you to keep looking for substitutes and save money for the next trip. If you try to look for options if you can always affordable yet decent options, just keep your eyes and ears open and explore. We assure you, you will definitely find what suits you best.

8

Plan during off season
We know everyone prefers to travel to places when it is the best time to see the places in all it’s grandeur during the season period but if you are going to travel on budget we will suggest you to drop that idea and go during off season and explore the place after the place is going to be just the same just that less crowded and maybe because of that a little bit less happening.

9

Ditch shopping
If you are a shopaholic this point might give you a mini heart attack but guess what this in fact a good idea, we promise that you will thank us later for it. Often while travelling to places we end up spending a lot on shopping which we don’t deny is fun but do you really wish to ditch the idea of travelling just because you won’t be able to shop?  Think about it and try to ditch the idea of shopping even if it’s a really tough decision.

Travel for experience
Whenever you choose travelling, with or without a budget, try to travel for the sake of experiencing new things and a new place nothing else. Why, you ask! Well, the answer is pretty simple; it will give you happiness even from the smallest things you do there that means your heart might just skip a beat by reaching your destination. Also, you will give your experience priority and that for sure will help you in giving up certain ideas that would require you to spend more money than actually should.

Focus on your needs
“There is always enough for needs but not for greed.” This proverb needs to be your mantra always. Hence, focus on what you really need, while planning, travelling, staying and till you are back (although we would suggest you to make it a part of everything that you do). Once you get hold of this you might not even need to think of it after sometime.

What are you waiting for? Pack your bags and enjoy travelling.
Happy travelling!
