Ever since IBM created Simon Personal Communicator in 1992 which was actually the first ever smart phone there has no looking back and the current IPhone series is a clear example of all the possibilities we can have in our pockets. So, before we step into the 2017 with full swing, here are some smart phones that you should be expecting this coming year.

Samsung Galaxy S8 edge
Samsung has been in phone business for quite long to sound unfamiliar to anyone across the globe. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge launched in 2016 managed to be in the top 10 list of various magazines and websites. And Samsung is all ready to gift the market the S8 edge on 28th February. It’s rumoured to have a 30MP rear camera and a 9MP front camera, a 6200mAh battery and 5.2 inch screen with 4K display. With the claims that are being rumoured about the phone we have already marked our calendar to see if it manages to set a benchmark.

Nokia’s Android return: D1C and P1
Nokia managed to be No.1 during the 1998 but it saw a miserable fate due to the lack of competency in Windows Lumia phones in comparison to Android phones and IPhones. But seems like Nokia is all set to give the smart phone market another shot with its own Android phones. Nokia is rumoured to launch two phones D1C a mid-range phone and P1 which would be more on higher end. P1 claims of being a water resistant phone that might catch your attention. Nokia D1C might not be an eye candy but would offer decent features which include a 3GB RAM. Will Nokia make a comeback?

LG G6
LG has been in the electronic world for a long time but it recently made its way to the mobile market and with the launch of G4 it has established a good rapport too. Although G5 couldn’t create much of a buzz yet we can lookout for G6 which promises to relieve us from the pain of sticking to a switch board for charging our phone. LG G6 is rumoured to come with wireless charging kit (Yipee!). Certain things would be an up gradation of G5 like the dual rear camera. The RAM capacity is a whopping 5GB and it might come in 128 GB internal memory variation. Also, there is a buzz about the LG G6 having 3D display screen.

HTC Ocean
HTC always gets people excited with their camera quality and keeps on upgrading its camera features. But this time we can lookout for two more exciting features. The recent video leaked shows a curved display like Galaxy S7 Edge which works as an app scroll. The edge can be used to scroll and select apps from the edge of the screen included in the curved display. The second feature might give you a tinge of pain but still give hopes to watch out. You might need to wave the audio jack a ‘Goodbye’. Yes, the new HTC won’t have 3.5mm audio jack. The phone will have a Type C port for charging and listening audio. The phone will have 5.7 inch Quad HD display.

OnePlus 5
OnePlus made it to the market in year 2014 but has already got tech savvy people attracted to it and eyeing for every new launch. OnePlus 5 has already got everyone’s eyes startled. OnePlus has been giving a tough competition to already established big names in the industry; reason being it has almost all the features but is still pocket friendly. The new phone will come with a curved design aluminium body and will have a 3D streaming video technology. The highlight is a RAM never like before- an 8GB RAM would support the phone. The battery might get charged from wireless charger just like OnePlus 3.
